People who suffer from a fear of flying can breathe a little easier with news that Virgin Atlantic has launched a downloadable application designed to help allay the anxiety of travelling at 30,000 feet. The long-haul airline Virgin has introduced an iPhone application, or app, for its Flying Without Fear course so that anxious passengers can read up before they take to the skies. The app, which costs £2.99, has an introduction by Branson as well as a video-based in-flight explanation of a flight, frequently asked questions, relaxation exercises and a fear attack button for emergencies with breathing exercises. The app draws from the success of the Virgin Flying Without Fear course, which recently helped actress Whoopi Goldberg overcome her own fear of flying. [Read More]
